About the author and .Net Treats & Tricks

August 2005

After completing my Technical Writing and Editing Certificate Program at the University of Washington, I joined Microsoft again. I became a part of the Microsoft Office User Assitance team and I became the Site Manager of the Office Developer Center. I am extremelly happy and can't find the words to express how much this means to me. I will continue uploading more content to my personal Web site. However, I have a new space where I will post content frequently: my new blog. I will also publish content related to Office development at MSDN.

April 2005

My name is Erika Ehrli Cabral. I am an Information Systems Engineer and I am currently enrolled to the UW Technical Writing and Editing Certificate Program. I love coding and writing, so this space is the combination of my two passions. I worked full-time in Microsoft Mexico as a Development Consultant and became specialized in Web Application Development. I moved to Redmond, Washington some months ago to share my life with the man of my dreams and here I am married and HAPPY.

The purpose of my Web Site is to share some portfolio articles, sample code, tools, thoughts, and cool tricks I have learned related to Microsoft technology, specially .NET. I started this Web site in January 2005, and hopefully as time goes by, I plan to have more than four articles :). The Web site is running with ASP.NET 2.0 Beta, so at this moment, the Web site can be a little slow. I just couldn't resist working with Whidbey!

I hope that some of the things I am planning to share will help you.
